Real-time media requests, matched to your clients

Every HARO request. Matched before your competitors finish reading it.

PitchZing ingests journalist requests the moment they publish, builds a verified profile of the reporter behind each one, scores the fit against your clients, and hands your team a pitch that is ready to approve.

Built for PR agencies and in-house teams. First pitch always goes through the journalist's own channel, with a human approving every send.

How it works

From a journalist's request to an approved pitch in four steps

Nothing is scraped and nothing is sent without a person saying yes. The system does the reading, the research and the drafting; your team does the judgment.

1

Ingest

Every HARO digest lands in press@pitchzing.com and is parsed within the same minute: summary, outlet, category, deadline and the reporter's relay address.

2

Profile

A profile is created for the person behind the request and enriched from their HARO page, Qwoted, Muck Rack, and their byline history in GDELT, with the source recorded on every field.

3

Match

Each request is scored against your clients' expertise, past coverage and goals, so reps open a ranked queue instead of a wall of email.

4

Pitch

A draft is prepared in the journalist's preferred format. A rep reviews, edits and approves. The first pitch always goes through the journalist's own channel.

Journalist profiles

One page per reporter, with receipts.

PitchZing keeps a living profile for every journalist it has seen: what they cover, where they publish, how they like to be pitched, and how confident we are in every contact detail.

🧭

Provenance on every field

Each email, beat and handle shows where it came from and when. A HARO relay is never confused with a direct address.

✅

ContactVerify

Finder and verifier results are compared, catch-all domains are flagged, and every address is labeled CONFIRMED, VERIFIED, HIGH CONFIDENCE, PROBABLE, CONFLICT, STALE or NOT FOUND.

📰

Byline history

Eighty days of global bylines from GDELT show which outlets a reporter actually publishes in right now, not where they worked three years ago.

Built on evidence

You always know why a contact is trusted

A sample profile block. Every row is a fact with a source, a date and a confidence label, so a rep can decide in seconds and an auditor can check it later.
