PitchZing (“PitchZing,” “we,” “us”) helps public-relations professionals find relevant journalist media requests and prepare pitch drafts in their own email account. PitchZing never sends email. You review every draft in your own mail and you are the only one who can press Send. This policy explains what information we handle, how we use it, and the choices you have.
PitchZing does not request access to your Gmail. Gmail users’ drafts open in Gmail’s own compose window, pre-filled, and you send them yourself. If PitchZing ever requests Google user data in the future, its use and transfer will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you connect an Outlook/Microsoft 365 mailbox or another email provider, we use the access you grant only to create pitch drafts in your Drafts folder, following that provider’s terms. We do not read your messages and we never send.
We share information only with the service providers that run our infrastructure (for example, our hosting provider), and only as needed to operate PitchZing. We may disclose information if required by law.
You can disconnect your mailbox at any time, which removes the stored access token. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at the address below and we will delete it.
Access tokens and credentials are stored encrypted, and access is restricted to operating the service.
We may update this policy; we will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
